The Alpine hills stand tall from a distance
Blue smooth skies like the Indian Ocean look down in displeasure
Loud whispers of the western winds rent our ears fitfully
Commitment to the goal in hand keeps us united faithfully
Humans falling prey to the birth of cascading cannibalism
Treacherous rapists should and will not be saved
Today, there will be war!
A deep breath fills my stentorian lungs with a gust of freezing air
Electric signals writhing in my body and they all screaming pain.
Eyes narrowed to the fast advancing adversary…
The sun watches
Recording the actions of man.
The rivers run thin
My blood presents gold
Mother Earth weeps.
Our courage is sharpened like a butcher’s axe
On we advance !
Glory will be for the gods
No mercy towards evil.

Moments with you are in comparison to a river.
Through the years of meandering,
Nature yet provides us with still waters
Clear, ravenous still waters busking in the equatorial atmosphere
With you, time stops.
And for that moment all that we have is that moment
It sprouts, matures and ages like red wine
Its as though nothing else matters,
Other than that moment
I dread the trauma that follows shortly after it ceases
I know this feeling is not alright
Neither are the thoughts of offering my heart what it wants.
But that is a plate for another night.
For tonight, I think we’re gonna be alright. 🙂

A gallant warrior runs over your terrain
Dripping rocks detrimental to your flower bed
Your mind bears nothing to gain
Coming down from the high of pain
Painkillers have been made an option
In your eyes boils your inner oceans
The only glance at your soul
Relinquish your worn out skin
Its time to wear snow white tailored garments.
Open a fresh page for new literature
For new dreams,
So you think…
Tempering with your cohesive plans is fate
Or luck, they both have a similar taste.
Hereafter you find a bae
Throwing away the old sheets to your bed
He is a new layer covering your wound
Surely it does provide a luxurious calm
Universal rules state that calmness is not permanent
A storm wrecks your hard work
And this time it is hard
kicking you back to the ground
This signifies a moment to rebuild
A new layer over the old layer
All in the pursuit to heal our wounds
Heal our heart breaks
Adapting the nature of an onion
Departure of ignorance
A new dawn for truth
Question to the universe
How does time heal a heart break?

You were like air to my existence
Always around me
A bubble of good will around me
You kept me alive and protected me
Arriving with the force of a few helicopter blades
I just wasn’t ready.
You were like the air around me
I forgot to comprehend that you were a breeze
A gracious, cooling breeze
Cooling my persona in a world full of hellfire
Just like a breeze, you cruised over my chest and back
Inching away, never to turn back
And now you are gone.
Even the deafening helicopter blades are a distant, silent hallo.

Introduction to wild thoughts
A glimpse at serenity
Fragrance of terror gnawing at my skin
Demons and angels tagging at my blood veins
The pipelines to my rich ancestral genes
Take your stance right next to me
Bring forth some light
Illuminate the path to your vision
In the bucket lays the only apple of your eye
On the table is a contract to sign the truth
In your possession is a cup to toast to your life.
Share what you truly desire
Feelings with the nature of a dynamite
Explosive pain reminds you of love
The stare-at-each-other kind of love
Our eyes discussing but our lips dare not make a move.
True love comes from up and above
Here i stand, Staring into a masterpiece
Always trying to decipher your proverbial beauty.
Impatience is marked as an atrocity
Infinity lies dormant in your imagination
Take pride of your melanin
Just the way you are in your daily knowledge.
Regardless of how much you acknowledge
Accept. Acceptance is not that easy
Easy moments fade away anyway.
Don’t you agree?
Like a firefly against a hurling wind
Wind your spirit with your emotions
Get to know what being alive really means
Being alive is our biggest wealth
Our first gift from the gods
Just like a candle light,
Inevitability is its destined death
Loss of our biggest wealth
These are the thoughts of a boy rising from low depths
From far far below
The funeral ashes to his past days’ soul.
I have come face to face with my own demons
They injected my ear canal with a shrilled piece of truth
You and I are made of glass.
Glass with the ability to camouflage
But just as a chameleon meets its end,
You and I were not meant to be immortal
Yet we tried the incomprehensible
Searching for a portal
A road that can aid us in enjoying the fragile moment
Living in the glass house moment
But the moments now shutter into a million glass pieces
In this cold world I warm up with your goodbye kisses.

There is fire on the mountain.
There is fire rampaging over Table mountain
The fire is over….
Put out by the winds pacing from the Pacific Ocean
Relinquishing my bruised eye for all to see
Distinguishing my wooden cottage from home
The home to my cookie jar of memories and adoration
Full of people that have your shoulder
Shoulder to shoulder, shoulder by shoulder, all is possible for all.
